It is particularly suitable when relatively large numbers of interviewees are required to answer a standard questionnaire. Our procedure for CATI Interviews is as follows:

  • In accordance with the nature of the problem, a questionnaire is compiled and the scope of the interviews (number, selection criteria, local classification etc.) decided on.
  • The interview is then carried out by telephone or online
  • The interviewers read the questions from a computer screen
  • The answers are entered directly into the computer during the CATI interview
