The BBE, Elaboratum and IPH Group: turnover has risen by more than ten percent

The BBE Handelsberatung, Elaboratum New-Commerce Consulting and IPH Handelsimmobilien Group continue their growth trend. They have succeeded in increasing consolidated turnover figures by more than ten percent over the past year – to 16.3 million euros.

The BBE company group, with 150 specialists, is Germany’s market leader in business and commercial real estate consulting. “The depth of content and regional coverage of our range of services together with our expertise in the industry are our unique selling point” explains Joachim Stumpf, managing director of BBE Handelsberatung. “This means that we have been able to cover the entire retail supply chain – from the business model through to optimization at the point of sale.”

The consolidated group offers services and consultancy for trade and commercial real estate through its companies BBE (commercial consulting), IPH (revitalization of shopping centers, center management and consulting in real-estate transactions) and Elaboratum (management consulting on digital transformation).

IPH is a commercial real estate service provider and manages property developments including leasing. Recently, Lars Jähnichen was appointed a managing director at IPH Handelsimmobilien and contributes extensive and long-standing development and shopping center expertise. IPH Centermanagement also offers integrated shopping center and property management. “Successful center management has to be able to take into account and consider the perspectives of property owners, retail tenants and customers”, says Peter Glöckner, managing director of IPH Centermanagement. “Our experts contribute this diversity of perspectives so appreciated by our customers”. IPH Centermanagement is a joint venture with the IC Immobilien group and, with more than 20 properties, Germany’s largest independent center manager. IPH Transact, which was only established in 2015 and provides investors and portfolio holders with advice on transactions, advised transactions last year in the high double-digit million range. “For 2017 we are expecting to advise on transactions valued between 150 and 200 million euros”, says Alexander Hoffmann, managing director of IPH Transact.

Elaboratum, the consulting firm providing new-commerce consulting in the BBE group, is on an upward trend with its partners. “Elaboratum is now one of the leading consultancy companies for digital transformation, cross-channel and e-commerce”, says Stumpf. In 2016 the company, together with BBE, was once more elected best out of 15,000 consulting firms, in a survey among clients and industry experts conducted by Brand Eins. “For retail, digitization poses quite new and all-encompassing changes which Elaboratum’s expertise will enable us to face with success” continued Stumpf.

For more than 60 years, BBE Handelsberatung, which has its headquarters in Munich and branches in Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig and Erfurt, has been providing consultancy services to businesses of all sizes and kinds, as well as purchasing cooperatives, trade associations and the consumer goods industry, the real estate sector as well as community groups and local authorities. In association with IPH Handelsimmobilien and Elaboratum New Commerce Consulting, the consulting portfolio of the 150 industry, location, e-commerce and property experts ranges from strategic development, market and site analyses, image and customer research through to real estate development and center management. Analysis and forecasting methods are constantly optimized, dovetailing expertise and practice to provide competent business advice. The consolidated group provides companies with comprehensive consulting solutions from the development of new business models through to optimization of existing business formats with product-range, price, service, staffing, communication and location/real estate modules.
